General Practitioner
Dr Writer and Partners are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive practice in Eastbourne. Full-time or part-time applications will be considered.
As a Salaried GP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a forward-thinking practice. The role offers an excellent mix of traditional face-to-face general practice alongside digital-first care through our dedicated Digital Triage Hub.
You will work collaboratively with GP Partners and our wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and timely patient care, while contributing to quality improvement, service development and the continued evolution of primary care within our practice.

Qualifications
- Qualified General Practitioner.
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
- Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
- Current GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation.
- Eligibility to work independently within the UK.
Experience
- Experience of working within UK general practice.
- Experience of assessing, diagnosing and managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Experience of working with electronic clinical record systems, including EMIS Web or equivalent.
- Experience of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable
- Experience of digital triage or same-day access models.

Office Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Office Manager to join our friendly and supportive GP practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with strong office management or healthcare administration experience. Previous GP practice experience would be advantageous, although applications from candidates with relevant management experience are welcomed. The ideal candidate will be seeking a full-time position; however, part-time applications will also be considered.
Reporting to the Senior Management Team and working closely with the GP Partners, clinicians and administration teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the practice, leading and supporting the administration and reception teams to ensure an efficient, responsive and patient-focused service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, supervising and supporting the administration and reception teams.
- Managing HR matters including recruitment, induction, appraisals, performance management and sickness absence.
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
- Monitoring and supporting the achievement of contractual, quality and performance standards.

Patient Services Administrator
Due to expansion of our team, Park Practice GP surgery is looking to recruit a full-time Patient Services Administrator to work as part of our excellent and well-established team at Park Practice. The right person will have the skills and ability to work in a busy and demanding environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hours to be covered are 8am to 6.30pm. We also open 6.00pm-8.00pm on a Wednesday evening. The successful applicant will be expected to work this evening on a rotational basis (approximately 1 in 4).
We are a friendly and busy training practice delivering care at our modern, purpose-built premises in Eastbourne. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive IT knowledge and at least 2 years’ experience is a Receptionist / Customer Service role. Experience of working in a GP practice or a medical environment would be an advantage but most importantly, we are looking for enthusiasm and the ability to project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors at the practice.
Your role as a Patient Services Administrator will require you to be the face of the practice. You will work in a very fast-paced environment and the role will include answering the telephones, manning the reception desk, processing prescriptions, dealing with queries or carrying out administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answering/forwarding incoming calls
- Handling and answering enquiries accurately and completely without dispensing advice, breaching patient confidentiality or making medical judgements
- Assit patients in completing online triage forms
- Dealing with patient queries
- Checking patients in for appointments
- Dealing with payments from patients
- Processing prescriptions and dealing with prescription queries
- Be aware of and abide by practice protocols and policies
- Verify new patient registrations
- Book recalls as advised by clinical staff
